highlighted bangs,
fluttering eye-
lashes drew me in,
drawn in from foot,
though I float, drift
to shimmering eyes,
hazel-blue glow,
Aphrodite beautiful,
you proceed past
feeling, numbing me
to the core, where I

my breathes begin
to skip, only to catch
me when I fall, and
bring me back to my
feet, your laugh is
addicting, and I’ve

inhale me, take me
in the wind, and let
me trace each fiber,

and hear the beat of
red roses, you’re the
flower to my sun,
the base to my beat,
